Sanyo Xacti VPC-TH1

Honestly, VPC-TH1 Sanyo Xacti camcorder is fun to use. Easy operation, and simple. Physical flat, out of Sanyo platform which usually have gun style (vertical), so that is steady operated with one hand. There are two main buttons on the inside: have camera symbol on the left side, and video camera on the right. Press left to take advantage of TH1 as a digital camera with 2 megapixel resolution interpolation. If you want to record a clip movie of HD (high definition - 1280x720 30fps) in MP4 format (MPEG4 AVC/H.264), press the right button. Does this create a dual make Sanyo call it Dual camera.

Optic zoom long enough available here, 30x reach. Zoom is smooth, and doing with encouraged the zoom panel in unit panel above on the right. But be careful using the zoom, because the shocks will be felt when zoom is opened too large. Image stabilizer that is electronic will not help much here. The solution, use a tripod to zoom above 5x. Results recorded images and video (for adequate lighting), looks good and sharp. Colors of life appear, bright. However, on the condition that not enough light, such as in the room, the result is less perfect. White balance takes a long time to adjust.

The result, seen noise was disturb. This is especially when we use Full Auto. This can be a little modified with setting in the Soft Menu. Unfortunately just contrast was increased, without image sharping.
